1. Controller and contact details
Merz Therapeutics GmbH, Eckenheimer Landstraße 100, 60318 Frankfurt am Main, Germany (“Merz”, “we”, “us”) is the controller for the processing of personal data in connection with this webinar, within the meaning of Article 4(7) of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

2. What data we process
When you register for or access the webinar, we process the information you provide, including your name, email address, country, medical specialty and years of experience with botulinum toxin treatment. We also process registration status, webinar access and technical log data needed to provide and protect the service.
3. Why we process your data and the legal basis
We use your data to register you for the webinar, provide access, send registration and service communications, administer attendance and protect the security and reliability of StreamBox. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary to provide the webinar you requested, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interests in secure, reliable operation and administration of the event.
We do not use your registration data for marketing unless you have separately given your consent. Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
4. Service providers
We use schoko pro GmbH, Alte Schmelze 10, 65201 Wiesbaden, Germany, to operate and support the StreamBox webinar platform on Merz’s behalf. schoko pro GmbH processes personal data only under Merz’s instructions and subject to appropriate contractual safeguards.
We use Brevo to send transactional registration and webinar-related emails. Brevo processes the recipient email address and the information needed to personalise and deliver those messages on our behalf. Brevo is engaged under a data processing agreement. If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure that an appropriate GDPR transfer mechanism is in place.
5. Recipients and international transfers
Access to your data is limited to authorised Merz and schoko pro personnel who need it to organise, operate or support the webinar, and to the service providers described above. We may also disclose data where this is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6. Retention
We retain registration and attendance data only for as long as necessary to run and follow up on the webinar, respond to enquiries and meet applicable legal obligations. After that period, the data is deleted or anonymised unless a longer retention period is required by law.
7. Cookies and technical data
StreamBox uses a strictly necessary CookieConsent cookie to remember your cookie choice for seven days. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. When you visit the platform, technical information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page and time of access may be processed in server logs to deliver the service and maintain its security.
8. Your rights
Subject to the requirements of applicable law, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
